PlayStation 4, is run out of games in physical format?

We get new information on Sony and its project to carry out the rumored PlayStation 4 , successor to its current home console. Anyway, we are told from the Wall Street Journal, Sony came to consider the possibility of a PlayStation 4 out media without physical format for their games, that is, they could only be bought and played through a virtual platform without the user never had a title in their hands. Not the first time that Sony would venture to try their luck with the digital-only format, remember that the portable console PS Go, dispensed with the UMD reader leaving everything to digital distribution, although it should be noted that their success was rather discreet.

The American newspaper that Sony would also details plans to release PlayStation 4 (not yet officially announced) during 2013. All these information are related to recent rumors emerged recently that pointed to online platforms known as OnLive or Gaikai as potential suppliers of gambling services "in the cloud" for future PlayStation. Apparently, Sony would have ruled out this possibility by considering the inconsistent Internet connections to all over the globe. Or in other words, most jugona community is not ready for a game console have to be permanently connected to the network.

And not only conectad to the network, but that would ensure a supply of bandwidth and reliability acceptable enough to warrant the constant flow of data that require the game via streaming. It therefore appears that Sony will continue betting on Blu-Ray format to distribute their games in physical form as it has done since the PlayStation 3 went on sale in 2006. But the Japanese would continue giving support to a large catalog of downloadable games, still a mainstay in the next generation of consoles.

Nothing is known officially on PlayStation 4, as Sony has been (as usual) undeterred by the wave of rumors that are swirling around his future console. The last thing we arrived a few days ago, showed off a leaked document on the network with the alleged specifications of PlayStation 4. Real or not, the document revealed a highly advanced system, which would be capable of displaying games in stunning quality 4096 x 3112 pixels of 2D and FullHD 1080p in three dimensions. It could also be compatible with older games and PSX PlayStation 2, which if confirmed would be a great joy for those who still have those games, but that would clash with the current business of Sony PlayStation 3 and which allows to download classic titles of their consoles at low prices. Let's see what happens at E3 2012 which will begin next week in Los Angeles, but except surprise, neither Sony nor Microsoft have in mind to release a new video game console.
